A passionate and empowering community

A warm welcome from the Blanchelande Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA). And to our new site. Our plan is to ensure you’ll find everything to do with our community in one, easy to use place. What’s going on, how to get involved easily, fundraise, make connections, and see the results of what we’ve achieved for Blanchelande College – you’ll be able to find everything here. We’re saying goodbye to cash, and hello to simplicity, accessibility and opportunities. From the re-launch of our uniform shop into our sustainability shop, tickets and upcoming events, this will now be your go-to platform for all things PTFA.

Our goal is simple

To strengthen and unite our growing Blanchelande community both within our school and the island. By working together, we aim to gather the support and resources necessary to improve the educational experience for all our pupils. Our PTFA team, which includes both the committee and our dedicated volunteers, is central to this mission.

Needs you!

During early 2024 our plans continue to develop – and so does our team. In line with our vision, we are excited to evolve the framework of the PTFA. Here’s some of what’s in store:

 

  • We are proud that our uniform shop is becoming B’sss – the Blanchelande sustainability shop. Online and on-site.
  • Our monthly lottery will be re-developed to create a buzz we all want to be a part of.
  • It’s over to the pupils!  Each part of the school will be deciding what PTFA events they want: infants, juniors, lower and upper seniors, as well as our growing sixth form. All will have their say.

And of course parents, teachers and the support staff need their fun too. It’ll be a big event year for us – so we can all let our hair down.
