Our goal is simple

To strengthen and unite our growing Blanchelande community — within our school and across the island. Together, we raise the support and resources that make school life richer for every pupil. And it takes all of us: parents, teachers, alumni and friends like you. 

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

There's a place for everyone in the PTFA — whatever time, skills or support you can offer:

  • Give your time: volunteer at our events (or suggest new ones), donate good-quality uniform to B’sss, or lend a hand behind the scenes. An hour here and there makes a real difference.
  • Join in: come along to our events — just turning up makes our community stronger. 
  • Support our fundraising: from the Monthly Lottery to B’sss and Easyfundraising, there are simple ways to give that fit around busy lives.

Blanchelande College PTFA has teamed up with easyfundraising — which means your everyday online shopping can raise money for the College at no extra cost to you. Simply shop through the easyfundraising site or app at over 7,000 retailers, and they'll send a free donation our way with every purchase. Every winner, every month — drawn live at the College Our live draw takes place in the first week of every month, and every subscriber gets a brick on the Supporters' Wall outside the Junior College. And because Specsavers fund the prizes, every subscription goes to work for our pupils — see the difference it's making on our impact page.

Blanchelande’s PTFA

Building our community

Two new ways we’re bringing Blanchelande together:

  • The Community Events Hub — one place for everything happening across Blanchelande: College events, PTFA activities and Alumni gatherings. Browse what’s on, buy tickets or register in one place, and share your own event with the community. 
  • The Blanchelande Market — our own community marketplace, launching this year. Parents, teachers, friends and local businesses connected to the College can list and sell their products and services — buyers pay nothing extra, sellers keep every penny they earn, and every listing supports the College. Think easyfundraising, but built entirely for our community, with the money staying local. We’re piloting it this summer with our first seller — and opening to community sellers this autumn.
