Our goal is simple

To strengthen and unite our growing Blanchelande community — within our school and across the island. Together, we raise the support and resources that make school life richer for every pupil. And it takes all of us: parents, teachers, alumni and friends like you.

How to get involved

  • Give your time: volunteer at our events (or suggest new ones), donate good-quality uniform to B’sss, or lend a hand behind the scenes. An hour here and there makes a real difference.
  • Join in: come along to our events — just turning up makes our community stronger. 
  • Support our fundraising: from the Monthly Lottery to B’sss and Easyfundraising, there are simple ways to give that fit around busy lives.

PRE-LOVED UNIFORM SALE

Whether you're in search of the essential jumper, getting ready for summer, or replacing a missing item in your PE kit, our stock clearance sale of pre-loved uniforms might be just what you need. We've now organised and categorised the items into 'like new' and 'gently used,' making it easier for you to find exactly what you're looking for. Not only will you benefit from this sale, but you'll also be contributing to our commitment to promote the reuse and passing forward of quality clothing,

Needs you!

During early 2024 our plans continue to develop – and so does our team. In line with our vision, we are excited to evolve the framework of the PTFA. Here’s some of what’s in store:

 

  • We are proud that our uniform shop is becoming B’sss – the Blanchelande sustainability shop. Online and on-site.
  • Our monthly lottery will be re-developed to create a buzz we all want to be a part of.
  • It’s over to the pupils!  Each part of the school will be deciding what PTFA events they want: infants, juniors, lower and upper seniors, as well as our growing sixth form. All will have their say.

And of course parents, teachers and the support staff need their fun too. It’ll be a big event year for us – so we can all let our hair down.
