My child has always worn white socks in the summer. Can they still?
No. From September 2026, College socks are worn all year round and white socks are no longer part of the everyday uniform. White sports socks are still worn for PE.
Does my daughter need socks if she wears tights?
Girls can wear either College socks or the approved tights — red in Primary, grey in Senior. Both are permitted with skirts, dresses and trousers, so it’s up to you.
My child is in Senior School. Should I choose an adult size?
Not necessarily. Sock sizes follow shoe size rather than year group. A Senior pupil with size 3 feet needs Child M, and a Primary pupil with size 5 feet needs Adult S. Check the shoe size, not the year.
How many pairs should I order?
That depends on how often you wash uniform. Three pairs covers a typical week; five gives you a full rotation with spares.
Can I mix sizes in one multipack?
No. Each multipack contains socks of the same style and size.
What if I order the wrong size?
Check the size guide before ordering. Exchanges follow the normal B’sss returns policy, provided the socks are unworn and in their original packaging.
Why has the College introduced a specific sock?
Socks are a visible part of the uniform, and a consistent College sock gives it a smarter, more coordinated finish.
Are these available from Fletcher Sports?
No. College socks are supplied directly through B’sss.
