Our goal is simple: to strengthen and unite our growing Blanchelande community both within our college and the island. By working together, we aim to gather the support and resources necessary to improve the educational experience for all our pupils. Our PTFA team, which includes both the committee and our dedicated volunteers, is central to this mission.

The PTFA works closely with the future vision of Blanchelande College, the teaching staff and the pupils themselves. They help us identify the wishes and needs of our growing community and where the College needs support, so we are strategic and focused when it comes to our events, fund-raising priorities and endeavours. 

Of course, it goes without saying that we will continue to raise money for the material needs of the college. But books and Bunsen burners aside, we’re a growing network of passionate people – collectively committed to upholding and promoting Blanchelande College’s values today and for years to come. This is what drives us – and where we can have, collectively, the greatest impact.

To unite and expand the Blanchelande community, promoting stronger connections both inside and out, and gathering resources— funds and people— to enrich the educational journey for each pupil.

We are a driven group who keep things simple – thinking in the now, while continuously planning ahead. Whether large or small, we are always dedicated to making things better for Blanchelande College and its wider community. Although our aims are significant, we make sure no one in our community is overwhelmed – in large part due to our ethos that joining in, rolling up your sleeves and helping is easy and straightforward. We strive to be open and always share how we use our funds and measure success. And finally, it’s important to us that everyone in our team – from committees to volunteers – shines.

While continuously focusing on making things better today, we have our eyes on the road ahead for Blanchelande College. We are building a long-term framework (LTF) – this is a progressive plan which supports the growth and values of Blanchelande College right now and sets the PTFA up to be an integral part of everyone’s hero journey into the future.
