Your Impact

See how PTFA fundraising is creating opportunities and experiences for pupils across Blanchelande College.

The outside area

Outdoor Social Space: Creating a place for pupils to gather, eat, learn and enjoy time outdoors.

With support from PTFA fundraising, a new outdoor area has been created where pupils can eat, relax and spend time with friends during break and lunchtime. The space can also be used for outdoor lessons and activities, giving pupils the opportunity to learn in a fresh and inspiring environment

The Blanchelande Food Truck

Fresh & Healthy: New School Food Truck!

We funded a new food truck, bringing fresh, healthy, and delicious meals straight to pupils.

Led by Mark Keeling, the new food truck transforms break and lunchtime with more convenience and great food.

BitBot Coding Robots

Bringing programming to life through hands-on learning

With support from PTFA fundraising, programmable robot cars called BitBots are being introduced for computing lessons and coding clubs. Used with Microbits already in the Junior School, pupils can program the robots to move and navigate challenges, helping develop practical coding skills and build confidence for more advanced programming in later years.

Expedition Tents for School Adventures

Helping pupils experience outdoor learning and adventure.

With support from PTFA fundraising, new expedition tents have been provided for residential trips and outdoor programmes across the College. These tents help pupils take part in activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award, supporting teamwork, independence and confidence in the outdoors.

Junior Playbarn Christmas Celebration

Bringing festive fun and shared experiences to Junior School pupils.

Thanks to PTFA fundraising, pupils in Years 3–5 were able to enjoy a special Christmas celebration at the Playbarn at Oaty & Joey’s. The visit provided a fun and active environment for pupils to celebrate together, creating memorable moments and strengthening friendships across the Junior School.
