The old barn, once a storehouse of forgotten things, has received a makeover. This clean-up is more than just a physical clearing; it symbolises our commitment to making room for new initiatives. As we remove the old, we make space for the new – both literally and metaphorically. This endeavor is not just about having the space and the tools to be Christmas-ready; it’s about setting the stage for a future filled with new initiatives.

We are excited to share some significant updates regarding our 2nd hand uniform shop. As part of our new initiatives, the shop is not only undergoing a thorough restocking and auditing but is also embracing a transformative change in its name and purpose.

This new identity reflects a broader vision beyond just offering pre-loved uniforms. It is estimated that 1.4 million uniform items end up in the landfill every year in the UK so It symbolises our dedication to sustainability and our commitment to extending the life cycle of uniforms, fostering a culture of recycling and reusing within our community.

The restocking and auditing process is a critical step in this transformation. It ensures that when we relaunch in the new year, the B’sss will offer a range of products that celebrates our school identity: Bags, hoodies, water bottles and much more!  We’re not just passing on uniforms; we’re passing on a legacy of care, quality, and environmental responsibility to the next generation and displaying the name of our school with pride.

Furthermore, in our efforts to make sustainable living more accessible, we are thrilled to announce plans to extend B’sss reach online. This expansion will allow us to connect with a wider audience, spreading the message of sustainability and making it easier for our community members to participate in this important initiative.
